They are playing weak


They're weak on the ball, weak coming to the ball, and weak on 50/50 balls. Leads to limited possession, limited opportunities when you have possession, and frustration among your frontline players with a "I guess I have to do it all myself" style that just doesn't work.

It's a typical away CONCACAF match. Opponent playing overly physical, ref won't/can't call it all, and we can't/won't match the physicality. Our players are butterflies who wilt under that pressure instead of thriving in the cauldron.
